It’s not often you get a music video that name drops a London bus route - and why would they, it’s a little bit mental after all.
Still, that’s not stopped electronic loving Ruby Goe from referencing the 149 from London Bridge to Edmonton Green (classic route) in her mental, synthy debut track Get On It.
Funded by trainer peddlars Puma, the video is a massive headfuck of Avatar gone gangsta blue/black shimmery paint, and the chronicles of a Friday night on the town, before projectile vomiting said paint all over a plain white wall. A little like a Friday night on the town, then.
With Ruby Goe being quietly touted to be 2012’s answer to Nicki Minaj, we’d recommend keeping an eye firmly on this hip-hopping mentalist.
